Who is an Associate Member of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary

Associates are lay people who affiliate with the religious Congregation, go through an official formation period, learn about the institute’s Charism and mission and promise to commit themselves to living out the spirituality of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary in their personal or public life.

It is an invitation and free gift from God and evokes in turn a free response. It is heard in the midst of daily events of life. The person, who feels drawn to the gospel path proposed by our founder Peter Joseph Triest, asks to be admitted as a lay associate of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary.
