Although the community of Yohannabad was only officially
founded in 1984, yet we had a long association of about 14 years with the
area. Sisters used to go regulary to care for the destitute aged in the
home that had been set up by Fr. R. A. D'Souza as well as to oversee the
needs of the parish primary school. From this humble beginning has sprung
the beautiful built school that one sees today. The sisters continue to
give a haven to the destitute.
