Our Founder, Fr. Triest and Co-Foundress Mother Placide experienced the fullness of life in being loved by God. Their sense of security and total reliance on God enabled them to assert – God is Love.
The hearts of our Founders were afire “with a single love of Christ and those "Other Christs" who are the poor and the suffering”.

The Founders’ Vision for their Spiritual daughters is:

• That the Spring of Grace that filled the hearts of Fr. Triest and Mother Placide may well up in the souls of their spiritual daughters.
   

• That our whole life, our actions and words may draw inspiration from His Love and that each Sister of Charity of Jesus & Mary to have the boldness to live out this inspiration in all its consequences.
